If there are no instructions with the order we will include the standard solo part. When ordering the edition, include a brief instruction in the “order note” on the check out page to specify the instrument and key (if a transposing instrument) and we will provide the solo part in the correct clef, key and range to be compatible with the C# minor piano score. The solo part is also available for transposing instruments, or C instruments with a lower range such as viola, cello, bassoon, etc. The standard solo part is scored for C instruments or voice covering the range from c#’ – c#”’, suitable for high voice, violin, flute, oboe or other soprano instruments pitched in C. The edition includes the full performance score with separate solo part, arranged in C# minor, Rachmaninoff’s original key for the work. This arrangement also incorporates features of the writing from Robert Schultz’s best-selling transcription for solo piano.
